Uniform Program Management OfficeMission UPMO acts as the coordinator of all stakeholders in uniform policy. Stakeholders include Navy Supply Systems Command, Uniform Matters Office, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa., Navy Clothing and Textile Research Center (NCTRF), Recruit Training Center and Naval Services Training Command. UPMO also has oversight responsibility of all uniform items sold in NEXs worldwide including uniforms, insignia, headwear, footwear and accessories. Navy Uniforms Uniform stores located in Navy Exchanges stock an assortment of uniforms designed to meet the installation’s mission. A knowledgeable and friendly staff, as well as skilled tailors, are on site to ensure each customer has a uniform that fits. All Navy Uniform stores have a “red phone” with an automatic direct dial connection to a Uniform Support Center customer service agent, allowing customers to purchase items or sizes not available in the store. Uniforms can also be purchased through the Uniform Support Center’s toll-free numbers from almost anywhere around the world. Customer service agents are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to take orders and answer questions. Most uniform orders placed either through the Uniform Support Center or online reach the customer within 10–14 days. Regular shipping is free, with delivery taking 10 – 14 days. For added convenience, customers ordering Navy and Marine Corps uniforms that require embroidery may have items sewn on through the Uniform Support Center. Uniform items requiring embroidery will be processed and shipped within 48 hours of being ordered. Navy uniform items can be ordered here using the Military Star card or other major credit card. Only authorized patrons can access the site to make purchases.
